Video and Performance Artist
In my performance I wish to inhabit that which I find repulsive. The obsessive state of the speaker inventing his own legitimacy through language, where words possess within them a secret. The source for the mimicking of the personalities in my work does come from a hybrid of specific people, but in the end it is not a specific individual which I portray, it is a mimicking of public opinion, of cultural phenomenons. The notion of normality is a perfect ground for obscenity and it is exactly that which I wish to take apart, defuse, put in disorder.
