To keep it simple, these are all photographs. I'd be happy to live with any or all of these works. Robert Adams is a genius. Jessica Craig-Martin was there. Bruce LaBruce rules. Reinhard Mucha is slow and tough and gloomy. I always loved Lucas Samaras' Photo Transformations. Runner up (since another artist has also chosen Lucas Samaras): Jim Welling.
Adam McEwen studied at Oxford University (1984-87) and California Institute of the Arts (1989-91). Solo exhibitions include Nicole Klagsbrun Gallery, New York, Galerie Rodolphe Janssen, Brussels, Galerie Art:Concept, Paris, and Jack Hanley Gallery, San Francisco. Museum exhibitions include the Museum of Contemporary Art, Miami (2009), the Rubell Family Collection (2009), and the 2006 Whitney Biennial.
