Philip Wesley Gates (Pittsburgh, PA), a director and performing artist, received a grant in January to present TERMINER at the New Hazlett Theater in Pittsburgh, PA, February 6-7.
Ulrik López (San Juan, PR), a visual and performance artist, received a grant in January to present Summon Song at the Broad Museum at Michigan State University in East Lansing, MI, January 25-August 23 with a performance on January 25.
Derek Spencer (Los Angeles, CA), a director, writer, and theater artist, received a grant in February to present Everyone Agrees It’s About to Explode in Los Angeles, CA, on March 12.
Jillian Walker (New York, NY), a theater artist, received a grant in February to present SKiNFoLK: An American Show co-presented by the National Black Theater and the Bushwick Starr in Brooklyn, NY, February 26-March 21.
