About the Work
In 1980, Robert Rauschenberg wrote a letter to FCA founder Jasper Johns entitled, "Have I got a deal for you." In the letter Rauschenberg proposed donating a print edition to the Foundation in exchange for Johns donating a print edition to Rauschenberg's "Change" foundation, which assists artists with health-related emergencies. Ultimately, Score, a lithograph printed by Gemini G.E.L. in an edition of 75, was donated to FCA. Score is available exclusively from FCA.
